Here at Baja California Restaurant & Cantina we transport you out of Las Vegas and down to the ocean waters of Baja and California with coastline colors of abalone blues and sunset hues. The entry to Baja California Restaurant and Cantina at Boca Park features a beachy walk-up ramp lined with water features and greenery and opens to a lush, mist-filled outdoor patio dining area with views of the desert and Summerlin mountain range. The open-air patio design was inspired by swim up bars found at many Baja California resorts and provides seating in a relaxed lounge atmosphere.
The inside dining room resembles a beach like resort feel with two separate bars featuring twisted driftwood accents and a water fall above one of the bars adding to the laid back and casual atmosphere among the sunset colors. Two large custom chef tables seat 10-12 people each for large parties. The tables have a driftwood finish and one-of-a-kind, hand-painted wooden chairs. Ocean-inspired elements such as seashells, smooth sea glass mosaic, candles, beach sand and driftwood are incorporated throughout the space to create a vibrant yet relaxed environment.
The "Man Cave" Cigar Lounge features flat screen TVs, an audio system and a self-serve well-stocked humidor. The cigar room is equipped with a state of the art air ventilation system and comfortable leather sofas and lounge chairs.
Baja California Cuisine
Executive Chef Jimmy Maddin and his culinary team have incorporated the unique flavors and fresh ingredients of Baja California cuisine in signature dishes like Vaquero Beef Rib, Shrimp & Mango Enchiladas, Pueblas Chili Relleno, Pork Shank Pibil, Halibut or Shrimp/Crab Ceviche, Queso Fundidos, and Pescado Veracruz. More traditional items such as Tacos, Pollo con Limon, Baja Flautas, Tortilla Soup and Poblano Caeser Salad are offered. Lime squeezers along with fresh limes are at each table as we believe every dish should be complimented with a fresh squeeze of lime juice.
Making a Difference
In keeping with the tradition of healthy eating, Baja California Restaurant & Cantina offers a children's menu with healthy menu selections. Some menu highlights include: Grilled Chicken Breast Taco on a spinach tortilla, Boracho Bean & Cheese Burrito, and Cheese Quesadilla on a spinach tortilla, all served with seasonal fresh fruit.
A portion of the children's menu benefits Create a Change Now, a non-profit organization the owner founded dedicated to healthy eating and nutritional education for children and helping to fight childhood obesity. Children that eat at Baja California Restaurant & Cantina leave with a packet of carrot seeds to plant in their garden.
